DATA AND ANALYSIS
4.1 Data
After did the experiment, we got the problem as follow:

4.2 Analysis of Data
            Based on the data and graph above, we can see that the time of petioles fell which swab with IAA in lanoline is longer than petioles fell which swab with lanoline only. For petiole in fifth nodes, the petiole with IAA in lanoline is fell on days 8, the petiole with lanoline is fell on days 3. For petiole in forth nodes, the petiole with IAA in lanoline is fell on days 9, the petiole with lanoline is fell on days 3. So, the timing of petiole fell in forth nodes from the top is longer than the timing of petiole fell in fifth nodes from the top.
            The timing of petiole fell which swab by the lanoline in fifth nodes and forth nodes are same. They fell in the same day, namely in days 3. But, the timing of petiole fell which is swab by the IAA in lanoline in fifth nodes and forth nodes are different time, in forth nodes the time to fell on the days 9, in fifth nodes the time to fell on the days 8. So, the process of abscission of petiole on upper side (forth nodes) is longer than petiole on under side (fifth nodes). Or we can said that The more down the location of the leaf, the faster the process of leaf abscission.
4.3Explanation
            Based on the analysis above, we have already know that the time of petioles fell which swab with IAA in lanoline is longer than petioles fell which swab with lanoline only, it happened because of the hormone mechanisms. IAA has the same structure with the auxin, as the growth hormone in plant and has role to obstruct the abscission process happen and keep the metabolism process in leaf, so the cells still doing growth although in the body of plant there is no auxin production anymore (it because the lamina has been cut, the petiole is remain and not produce auxin anymore). Whereas in petiole which is swab by lanoline only is not containing of auxin, so the petiole is not growing anymore because the auxin is exhausted (because the lamina has been cut, the petiole remain is not produce auxin anymore), so that the abscission process in petiole can be happened. Beside that, the Lanoline hormone has function to increase the leaves abscission because lanolin is stimuli the etilene hormone and etilene hormone has function to accelerate the abscission process of leaf, so the timing of petiole fell is faster.
From the experiment, we also known that the process of abscission of petiole on upper side (forth nodes) is longer than petiole on under side (fifth nodes). Or we can said that The more down the location of the leaf, the faster the process of leaf abscission. It happened because leaf which is located near to the apical has the more contain of auxin, so the leaf in near apical will do the growing process longer (continuously) than other leaf which is located underside of these leaf. And the process of abscission of leaf which near with apical will obstructed. Beside that, the older of leaf (far from the apical), the etilen production is more increase. If it increases, the cells which starts to produce etilen hormone will encourage the establishing of abscission layer. Then, the etilene etimuli the abscission layer to separate by stimuli the enzyme synthesis which break the cell walls in abscission layer. So, the abscission process can be happened faster in petiole in fifth nodes that in forth nodes.
The petiole can be fell or doing abscission (by the petiole which swab by lanoline only) by activation of etilen hormone and also because there is no inhibitor for enzyme activity of Abcisat Acid. The Abcisat Acid can stimuli the abscission process to go faster or maximal. Te etilene also stimuli the abscission process to go faster. But in this case, Abcisat Acid is not directly affect the abscission, must starts with premature aging by the organ which will fell.
When the leaf is fell, the release point of leaf is the abscission layer which is located near the base point of petiole. The small parenchyma cells in these layer have the thin wall, and there is no fibre around the vesicle bundle. The abscission layer will be weak when the enzyme is hydrolyzing the polisacharida in the cell wall. In the end, the leaf using help of wind, will cause the separation in abscission layer. Even before it feel, a cork layer will form the scar tissue protector in branch side in these abscission layer, which obstruct the pathogen in order it not enters into these plant.
Abscission is controlled by changing of etilene and auxin equilibrium. Auxin which is produced by older leaves is less than younger leaf. These decreasement of concentration makes the cells in abscission layer more sensitive. The shift in hormonal equilibrium is making stronger these plant itself, because inner cells of abscission layer is producing additional of etilene hormone which obstruct the synthesis of auxin by leaves. Because the effect of etilen in abscission layer is still exist, cells will produce enzyme which digest the cellulose and other component in cell wall.
  Pektinase and cellulase formation in stimulated cells in the abscission region, and will dissolve lamela middle of the transverse walls before, so the leaves off the stalks. Relationship will be severed ties vessels clogged with the formation tilosa (tylose), a substance that is a kind of "gum" and coated cork cells. In this process involved two events, namely cell division and induction hirdolase. Both active metabolic process and thus is part programmed in plant development.
So, the IAA hormone has function to obstruct the leaves abscission and make the metabolism of leaf is still work, so the timing of petiole fell is longer. And the Lanoline hormone has function to increase the leaves abscission because lanolin is stimuli the etilene hormone and etilene hormone has function to accelerate the abscission process of leaf, so the timing of petiole fell is faster.
